Electroporation is a platform technology, which is already well established in medicine, food processing, and biotechnology. The technology holds great promise also in other fields, such as biomass production and transdermal drug delivery. Different applications require different pulse shapes, voltage amplitudes, pulse widths, pulse repetition rates, and a number of pulses or bursts. A pulsed power generator termed as electroporator and electrodes are used to expose the cell to the adequate pulsed electric field. Electroporator generates electrical pulses by applying electrical pulses via electrodes in direct contact with the tissue, an electric field is established in tissue.
mPOR develops and offers different technological solutions for electroporation. Currently our focus is on commercialization of a versatile high frequency electroporator for laboratory use and different electrodes.
